The Wiggles Project is a community-centered platform created by Jennifer Sullivan that focuses on sharing experiences and information on Parkinson’s disease.
We wanted to create a fresh, approachable identity in opposition to the restrained look displayed by most health organizations. As The Wiggles Project, we looked for the bright side of PD and played with color, patterns that resemble brain tissue, and bold graphics.
Dyskinesias (or the wiggles as Jennifer calls them) are involuntary body movements that occur as a medication side effect.
The distinctive W’s shape combines a stable, straight line with a wobbly, curvy one, representing the motor oscillations and progressive character of the disease.
